The Kauf Nike Blazer Low series has become a popular staple from Nike Sportswear over the past few years and this fall saw a couple of notable changes. The most recent drops were the first Vintage Blazer Highs to come with tonal laces and tongues and saw the initial Blazer Low VNTG releases. These two colorways for next summer keep the same tonal tongue/white laces look as those recent lowtops, black and Varsity Red keeping things about as simple as you could want, with the typical VNTG pre-yellowing some have called superfluous absent on these.



Sneaker News' look into the Nike Sportswear Holiday 2011 footwear collection last week appeared to contain the first images of the new Nike Blazer Mid Oulet, but could we see a pair before the rest of that run is ready? Check out this duo of new Blazer Lows, the Obsidian pair of which bears the undeniable yellowing of oxidation found on the soles of NSW VNTG releases. This aged treatment leaves the Team Red pair feeling like night and day, though both do indeed share lush suede on their uppers along with the classic ‘unfinished' nylon tongue.

This works its way into the grain of the profile, toe box, and counter, while the overlays’ edges deliver color in a fashion just as subtle. Nike Blazer Rabatt Orange, blue, and yellow hit the toe cap, forefoot, and swoosh, respectively — the latter a complement to the ornate, culturally symbolic marigold that rests in gold embroidery atop the counter. Elsewhere, the tongue and lining are hit with a bleak neutral shade, encasing a graphic-heavy insole along the inside.

Since rejoining the ranks of the Swoosh’s most popular silhouettes over the last five years, the Nike Blazer Schuhe has mostly favored versatile, two-tone colorways.
